Tom was killed on the 11 of june 2006, he was just 16. Just another statistic, another teenager
killed on a london road. Toms killer was just a teenager himself, showing off to his friends in a
car he didn't know how to drive, so he lost control and mounted the pavement Tom was walking
on. Tom knew his killers brother. I Hope Toms death has made all the kids he knew sit up and think
about right from wrong.
So many people have been affected. His best friend Kigh, they were bros. spent every last minute in
each others company, they saw more of each other than me his mum saw of him. Another friend, Lewis
who was with Tom when he died, he was lucky to be alive himself. He has to live with that reality
every day of his life. All Toms many friends, especially the girls have lost someone very special
who can never be replaced. They've lost their 'Joker' their 'Clown'.
His family, Me his Mum and Dave his Dad have had part of our hearts ripped from us. His sister,
Harriet, has lost her other half. They were just a year apart in age and argued all the time,they
were very different people but loved each other deeply. His little brothers, Jack and Sam, miss the
play fighting, the computer games and the protection an older brother offers. Toms Nannies coping
with the loss of their grandchild and having the worry of his parents. They say as a parent you
never stop worrying about your children. Toms aunts , uncles and cousins miss him greatly too, Life
will never be quite the same again.
Tom wasn't brain of britian infact in the G.C.S.Es he completed before he died he didin't
do too well, except of course his Art. Thats what Tom was good at he had a real eye. He also loved
his clothes he had to be imaculate and always wanted the newest fashions. He would save hard and
didin't ask us to buy it all for him, also he loved his bling. Tom was a normal, funny, often
anoying, wonderful teenager and we all miss him so very much. X X X

My best friend
